Kate Phipps, LCPC

Kate Phipps is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who obtained her Masters in Science in School and Clinical Counseling from the Northwest Nazarene University in Idaho. Kate has been an LCPC for 7 years and specializes in working with children, teens and adults with anxiety disorders. Anxiety is one of the fastest growing diagnoses and is one of the most treatable. Kate treats Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Selective Mutism, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Phobias, Panic Attacks, Sports induced anxiety and Somatic issues once all medical issues have been ruled out. The techniques Kate practices with anxiety disorders varies with the diagnosis. Kate also uses Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Systematic Desensitization.
